Schedules & Rates

Piano lessons start on the last Monday in August, following the Calgary Public School Board traditional calendar, with the adjustments towards separate and Catholic school boards. Piano lessons end on the 2nd week of June, with the exception catered towards RCM Examinations. Please check for the updates in late April in regards the school ending date before the Summer Break.

Length of Piano Lessons: Each private piano lesson is 45 – 90 minutes, taking place on a weekly basis.

Beginners – Conservatory Piano Grade 5: 45 minutes
Conservatory Piano Grades 6 – 8: 60 minutes
Advanced Grades 9,10, & ARCT: 1 hour 30 minute

Group lessons such as 60 minutes theory (1-3 students) small classes, or (4-6 students) Masterclass lessons are Not available at this time due to COVID-19 Restrictions. Theoretical different levels subjects are offered in-person: student and teacher setting throughout the current school year.

There are also Master Classes available for beginners, which are 1 hour 15 minutes each, or for advanced students, 1 hour 30 minutes each.

Due to the variety of piano lesson lengths and levels, rates are discussed during the initial meeting.
